President of CPI for Manipulation of Games and Sports Betting, Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO) stated that John Textorowner of SAF do Botafogopromised to provide him with “new evidence” of match-fixing in Brazilian football by next Friday (10/5).

The senator ended up, however, being mistaken about the deadline given by the STJD for the leader to hand over the evidence he says he has in his possession. It was given five days after the publication of the ruling, which has not yet happened. Textor can also present justifications for not handing over the evidence to the STJD.

– He now has until Friday to deliver proof of everything he reported about game manipulation in the Brazilian Championship. If this Friday he does not hand it over to the STJD, he will be suspended for one year, will be out of Brazilian football and out of command of Botafogo for a year – said Kajuru, during the program “A Hora do Kajuru”, on the radio “BandNews”. Goiânia”.

– What have your lawyers been saying to me as president of the CPI here in Brasília? “Kajuru, before Friday, as he promised, he will send you the new tests”. He has already sent me a complete report, the complete CBF report is also in my hands. The lawyers even told me that I will be able to publicize some of this new evidence – added Kajuru.

The CPI for Manipulation of Games and Sports Betting did not meet this week due to the trip of rapporteur Romário (PL-RJ) to Curaçao, where he will compete in the FIFA Masters World Cup. Next week, former referee Glauber do Amaral Cunha, former advisor to the Ministry of Finance José Francisco Manssur and the head of CBF arbitration, Wilson Luiz Seneme, will be heard.
