Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso predicts a complicated weekend for his team at the Formula 1 Miami GP. The Spaniard believes that the Miami circuit, with its long straights and high-speed corners, does not adapt well to the AMR24 car, which does better in low corners.

Despite the unfavorable scenario, Alonso remembers that the team has previously exceeded expectations and is betting on ideas to improve the car’s performance, especially in races. Friday’s free practice will be crucial to test these new features, as the Sprint format limits preparation.

The Spaniard has been performing well in the qualifying sessions, but Aston Martin is struggling to maintain pace throughout the races, falling to the bottom of the points zone. According to the driver, this reflects a change in the car’s DNA compared to last year’s model, which was less demanding on the tires.
