Sao Paulo-SP) – The Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in São Paulo, which will host the clash between Brazil and Germany for the Billie Jean King Cup, received a visit from Luiz Peniza, captain of the Brazilian team, last weekend.

Peniza, who called up the five best players in the country for the match, led by Beatriz Haddad Maia, as well as Laura Pigossi, Carol Meligeni and doubles players Luísa Stefani and Ingrid Martins.

“I had the opportunity to see the finished court, I was quite satisfied with the first impression I had. We have ten days to work on it and, certainly, when training starts on the 8th, the court will be impeccable and of the highest quality possible to prepare for the confrontation. The structure is very cool and the court is very beautiful,” he said.

The dispute, which counts for a place in the finals of the competition, will be held in two single games on Friday (12), starting at 6:30 pm, and two other single games on Saturday (13), starting at 3 pm. In case of a tie, the decision will be made with a doubles match.

Tickets – Around eight thousand tickets have already been sold. There are few units left, which are available on the website www.ingressonacional.com.br.
