A criminal group was indicted this Tuesday (30) for involvement in robberies at luxury homes in five cities in Minas Gerais, which left a loss of R$2 million. According to the Civil Police of Minas Gerais, the suspects are between 25 and 29 years old and broke into houses to steal jewelry, watches, money and vehicles.

The police found a banker in a luxurious house in Santa Luzia, in Greater BH. The location was used as a storage facility for stolen items.

During the investigations, the team from the 2nd Police Station Specialized in Investigation and Repression of Theft and Robbery found that one of the masterminds of the crimes had been arrested in Rio de Janeiro by the Federal Highway Policein the beginning of the month.

The Civil Police also states that the suspects have several police records, including homicide, theft, vehicle tampering and drug trafficking.

To the investigations are still ongoing to identify possible buyers of stolen objects.
