In a new ranking released by ATP, the Association of Professional Tennis Players, this Monday, the Brazilians did well and gained positions. Thiago Wild, João Fonseca and Gustavo Heide were the main highlights.

Thiago Wild, who passed qualifying and reached the third round at the Miami Open, Masters 1000 tournament, gained 63 points in total and was 831. He jumped ten places and is 66th, a privileged position to enter most events on the world circuit. Wild will only play again from the 15th at the ATP 250 in Bucharest, Romania.

Until the Roland Garros dispute, Wild will have 106 points to discard and another 115 during the second Grand Slam of the year where he passed the quali and reached the third round, that is, 221 points during the entire European clay tour.

Champion of the Asunción challenger, in Paraguay, his biggest title, Gustavo Heide jumped 51 positions and reached 174th, obtaining his best performance and entering the top 200 for the first time. João Fonseca, 17 years old, finalist in the Paraguayan event, jumped 53 positions and reached 288th, debuting in the top 300. Matheus Pucinelli also rose, gaining 21 positions and reaching 274th.

Thiago Monteiro remained 110th, Felipe Meligeni rose four with the semifinal in São Leopoldo (RS) and went to 130th and placed in the best ranking, which is 129th. Pedro Sakamoto rose 13 and entered the top 300 with 296th. Quadrifinalist in Assunção and São Leopoldo, Orlando Luz, from ADK Tennis, from Itamirim Clube de Campo, in Itajaí (SC), moved up 36 and is in 335th place. Champion in Maceió (AL), Daniel Silva rose 93 and is 455th.

Nicolas Oliveira and Joaquim Almeida make their debuts in the rankings after winning their first professional games in Maceió and Feira de Santana respectively.
