According to the event organizers, the outage occurred due to an internal failure in partial power distribution. The situation affected Arena Jovem, a space dedicated to author chats.

Still according to the organization, the problem was corrected by the maintenance team at the Salvador Convention Center and the schedule continued normally.

In a statement, the Electricity Company of the State of Bahia (Coelba) confirmed that the power outage was an internal defect and that the “electrical network and energy supply in the region remain normal”.

Scheduled to start at 11 am, the lecture was announced due to a rapid return of power supply, but was postponed again after a new outage. The table was then transferred to the “Café Literário” space, where supply was not affected.
