At the end of last year, Nathan Florence and his wife, Mahina, traveled through northern Europe. The Hawaiian filmed the adventure while continuing his self-proclaimed “Slab Tour” through cold waters, exploring remote regions and surfing monstrous waves with borrowed boards.
In the latest vlog, Florence recalls her journey through Iceland, which included surfing and running out of gas surrounded by sheep. “We are here in Iceland to see, explore, check everything out. It’s a place Mahina and I wanted to visit. We saw some fun waves in video edits and thought, if we can surf and have fun…” says Nathan.
As expected, surfing happens. Soon after, the couple runs out of gas and ends up pushing the car in the middle of nowhere, with the aim of parking it on a farm on the side of the road.
