This past Saturday, 02, police officer Josinaldo Santos de Queiroz was murdered in Nova Cruz, a municipality in the interior of the state. The search for the criminal is currently being carried out.
According to the Secretary of Penitentiary Administration (SEAP), searches were triggered as soon as they were warned about what had happened. Also according to the organization, all police apparatus was made available to find the criminal in Nova Cruz. The search will only end when the culprit is found.
According to investigations, the killer stole the policeman’s gun in a bar and fired three shots at him. The criminal, shortly after the shots, applies knife blows with the victim already on the ground. In addition, the man still stole the policeman’s motorcycle.
Josinaldo Santos was from Bahia and had worked in the Rio Grande do Norte Penitentiary System for 12 years. SEAP reinforces that whoever has more information about the murderer can use the Civil Police number 181, guaranteeing identity secrecy.
