Auditors Sergio Martinez and Jorge Ivo Amaral followed Mauro Marcelo’s vote. Paulo Feuz, on the other hand, accompanied the rapporteur.
José Perdiz analyzed that the votes had no divergences regarding the need for conviction. He indicated a total punishment of 55 days and a fine of R$75,000.
The trial in the STJD Plenary was resumed this Friday. It began on the 9th, in a session in São Paulo, but was postponed after the vice-president auditor Felipe Bevilacqua asked for a review of the process, and the other auditors agreed. Last week, it gained a new date after Textor went to the STJD to present his defense and there was another request for a review.
The first instance assessment took place last year. At the time, the businessman received a 35-day suspension and a fine of R$25,000, but received a stay to await the full trial without complying with the punishment.
Textor went to court last week for a meeting with an eye on another case. He defended the reports from the company Good Game, which he used as a basis to denounce alleged manipulation of matches in Brazilian football. In parallel to this movement, the process regarding entry onto the field and the offense against Ednaldo was taken off the agenda.
Another trial
Textor will face another trial at the STJD, on the 6th. The action takes place at the STJD, after he failed to present the evidence he said he had about corruption in arbitration at the Brazilian Championship. On the agenda of the First Disciplinary Commission, the owner of SAF will be judged in a session scheduled for Monday, for double infraction of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice.
