“Stupid decision”: Young Sheldon actress doesn’t accept the end of The Big Bang Theory spin-off – Series News

The series’ seventh season will be its last.

With a confirmed end date of May 16th, Young Sheldon will be missed. In the plot, we follow the childhood of the most iconic character from The Big Bang Theory, now played by actor Iain Armitage.

And speaking of the end of the series, Annie Potts, responsible for playing Sheldon’s grandmother, recently complained about the fateful ending. The actress spoke out during a recent conversation with Variety, criticizing the producers for canceling the show.

“I still don’t understand why they canceled it”she said. “It seemed like a stupid decision to me”he added.

Why did this Young Sheldon character never appear on The Big Bang Theory?

For those who haven’t been following, the seventh and final season of Young Sheldon began airing in February this year, planning an outcome for the spin-off. The news has left the stars already missing their work, a fact that led Iain Armitage to also say during the interview:

“It’s definitely hard to finish working with such amazing people; It will always make everything more difficult. I feel very lucky to have seven wonderful years, but at the same time, I’m very excited that I’ll be able to come back [para Los Angeles] in June. I’m going to hang out with Annie, I’m going to get my driver’s license and I’m going to give tours at Warner Bros., which is going to be wonderful.”

With good ratings from the public, Young Sheldon can be found for streaming on Netflix and Max.
