The jet rented by the singer took off late and took more than 9 hours to reach a small North American airport
At 10:24 pm on Sunday (5), Madonna left through the front door of the Copacabana Palace. Before getting into the car, she waved and blew a kiss to the dozens of fans who shouted her name on the sidewalk of Avenida Atlântica.
The singer had spent the day in her suite overlooking the sea. In the early hours of the morning, she participated in the party thrown for her and her team by Luciano Huck in one of the 5-star hotel’s restaurants.
The vehicle took the singer and her children to Tom Jobim International Airport, Galeão. The Gulfstream G550 jet’s takeoff was scheduled for 11pm, but it happened 41 minutes late.
At 2:30 in the morning, the aircraft flew over Santarém, in Pará. It then crossed the Amazon, Central America and Mexico calmly until it entered United States airspace.
Arrival at Teterboro Airport, west of New York City, was scheduled for 7:16 am. The jet landed at 8:09 am local time (9:09 am in Brasília). It was a 9 hour and 28 minute flight.
Madonna lives in a four-story house, with 13 bedrooms, at 152 81st Street, on the Upper East Side, the most aristocratic area of NYC. Luxurious Fifth Avenue and Central Park are just three blocks away.
After 81 shows over the 7 months of the ‘Celebration Tour’, with the apotheosis on the sands of Copacabana, the queen of pop must spend a long period of rest, with nothing on her professional agenda.
