Bruce Dickinson, from Iron Maiden, is named Honorary Citizen of Curitiba

English musician Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden, received the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Curitiba, capital of Paraná. Bruce received the award this Tuesday (April 23), at the headquarters of the Bodebrown brewery, responsible for producing the Trooper Brasil and Aces High beers.

According to a note published by the Blabbermouth website, the tribute proposal was presented by councilors Eder Borges and Nori Seto, who defended the connection between the British musician and Curitiba through craft beer.

“He is someone with a lot of talent and an unblemished reputation, which is a condition for receiving a title like this. And, like a good British man, he is passionate about beer”, declared Eder Borges.
