Politicians mourn the death of the mother of former congresswoman Teresa Britto

Several politicians from Piauí expressed themselves through social media lamenting the death of Luiza Bandeira, mother of former state deputy Teresa Britto, Regional president of PV Piauí, which occurred this Sunday (05) at Unimed Hospital, north of Teresina.

The president of the Legislative Assembly of Piauí (Alepi), deputy Franzé Silva (PT), said he received the news with great sadness. He expressed solidarity with Teresa, who heads the Assembly’s General Ombudsman’s Office.

“I receive, with sadness, the news about the death of Mrs. Luiza Bandeira, mother of my friend, former deputy Teresa Britto @teresabritto ombudsman-general of Alepi. My solidarity with her family and friends. I pray to God that, in this moment of pain, give serenity, comfort and peace to everyone”, wrote the president of Alepi.

PT’s pre-candidate for mayor of Teresina, state deputy Fábio Novo (PT), also spoke about what happened through social media. He said he hopes it is possible to find the comfort and serenity to deal with this loss. “I express my condolences to family and friends”, wishes the PT member.

Grief

The mother of the former state deputy and current president of the Green Party in Piauí, Teresa Britto, passed away this Sunday (05) at Hospital Unimed, in the north of Teresina. Luiza Bandeira, 88 years old, had suffered from Alzheimer’s for years and had to be hospitalized to treat pneumonia that ended up getting worse. The burial took place in the São Judas Tadeu Cemetery, east of the city.
