The 2024 season of the Sergipe Kart Championship will start this Saturday (27), at Kartódromo Emerson Fittipaldi, in Aracaju. With free entry to the stands, the event is contested in three main categories (F4 Graduates, Super Senior and Light) and one for minors (Cadets). The final heats start at 2 pm.
According to the president of the Sergipe Karts Association, Max Levita, the 2024 season tends to be even more competitive and exciting than previous years. “We are expecting a competitive edition, with capable drivers and exciting races. The previous years were very good and constantly growing. We aim to maintain this standard for this season,” he commented.
The current champions Guilherme Figueiredo, from the F4 Graduados category, Hercules Cardoso, from F4 Light, and Valdemiro Oliveira, from F4 Super Senior, accelerate again in search of maintaining the position of fastest in the state in this six-stage championship that will end in November. In the previous season, the titles were decided in the last race of the year.
The event will be broadcast live on TV Atalaia and sponsored by Samam Veículos. The competition is organized by the Sergipe Kart Association and endorsed by the Brazilian Automobile Confederation.
