An aircraft belonging to the pharmaceutical company CIMED was involved in an accident this Tuesday afternoon (23), in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul. The jet, frequently used by the businessman João Adibe Marques, exceeded the limits of the runway when trying to land and fell into an embankment. According to the local fire department, none of the passengers were seriously injured.
In images posted on social media, it is possible to see that the aircraft was damaged mainly on the front and bottom. It is not yet known what caused the incident at Comandante Kraemere Airport, a location managed by the city hall. The jet was in good condition.
CEO of CIMED, João Adibe took to social media to comment on the incident: “We reported an incident involving a company aircraft this Tuesday afternoon (23), in the city of Erechim-RS. We clarify that all passengers and crew are safe.” The businessman’s presence at the scene has not yet been confirmed.
The aircraft model in question is a Bombardier Learjet 45, with registration PPDYB, which allows capacity for up to 13 people. João Adibe’s jet is a medium-sized, high-performance twin-engine jet.
Agreement with Cruzeiro
Cruzeiro’s sponsor, Cimed extended its support to the club with the Lavitan brand, a vitamin licensed by the pharmaceutical industry. The name of the product will appear on the shoulder blades of the celestial uniform. It is worth mentioning that Cimed has been a sponsor of Cruzeiro since October 2022, with a contract signed until the end of 2026.
