In search of talent, Bahia increases the network of recruiters in the youth division

Bahia has been working to reveal great players in the future. To achieve this, the idea is to increase the club’s presence throughout the country to bring young athletes to its youth divisions. Since last year, when the project began in partnership with Grupo City, Tricolor has been increasing its pickup network and has already become the largest in the Northeast.

“We understand the importance of attracting young athletes, and Bahia could no longer be left out of such important centers in our country. We have significantly increased the quantity and quality of our recruiting professionals, who seek out young players throughout Brazil. We know the club’s objectives for the base, and the success of this also depends on our fundraising sector”, explained the fundraising manager, Pedro Andrade.

Currently, there are 16 pickups spread throughout Brazil, in addition to the entire team working internally. In this work, professionals follow the main competitions in the country and players from the most diverse regions. The Squad also partners with scouting platforms to monitor the statistics of these young athletes.

Bahia also created the Dia do Bahia project, which seeks reinforcements across the country, with open and closed screenings, focused on younger athletes. The fruits have already started to be noticed, especially in the younger teams, from U16 and below.
