Due to the national holiday on Wednesday, May 1st, in celebration of Labor Day, the operation of some commercial establishments, as well as public bodies, will have changes.

Check below what opens and closes this Wednesday, 1st, in Aracaju.

Riomar and Gardens

Due to the celebration of International Workers’ Day, the JCPM Group shopping malls in Aracaju, RioMar and Jardins will operate during special hours this Wednesday. The ventures will open food courts, restaurants and leisure operations from 12pm to 9pm; other stores and kiosks will be closed. The cinemas will operate according to Cinemark’s schedule and the film schedule is now available on the RioMar Aracaju (Android and iOS) and Shopping Jardins (Android and iOS) superapps. The hypermarkets, Cemise clinic and gym will operate according to their respective networks.

For customers who will participate in the Mother’s Day campaigns promoted by the malls, the exchange points in both malls will be open. At RioMar Aracaju, exchanges for Festival 35 can be made on the first floor, next to the Pague Menos pharmacy, from 2pm to 8pm. In Jardins, exchanges for the Havaianas campaign will take place near Cinemark, also from 2pm to 8pm. Check out the schedule for May 1st:

Restaurants Comarada Camarão, Madero, Ferreiro Grill Outback, Senzai and Tio Armênio – from 11:30 am;

Smurfs Village, Game Station, Balacobaco Play and Kids Car at RioMar Aracaju – from 12pm to 8pm;

Magic Circus, Puppy Play, Balacobaco Play and Kids Car at Shopping Jardins – 10am to 10pm.

Shopping Premium

This Wednesday, 1st, Labor Day, stores, kiosks and food courts will be closed at Shopping Prêmio. Cinesercla will be open from 1:30 pm to 9 pm and GBarbosa and Americanas have their own opening hours.

Aracaju Parque Shopping

The stores will be closed, while the food and entertainment sector will be open from 12pm to 10pm. The cinema operates according to schedule.

Aracaju Center

The stores in the Aracaju Shopping Center will be closed this Wednesday, 1st.

Supermarkets

The Sergipe Supermarket Association (ASES) informs that supermarkets will be closed in Aracaju.

Banks

Bank branches will not be open for in-person service to the public on May 1st, Wednesday, when Labor Day is celebrated. Bank compensations, including TED, will also not be effective during the period. PIX, which operates 24 hours every day and on holidays, can be done normally.

Supermarkets

The Sergipe Supermarket Association (ASES) informs that supermarkets will be closed during the holiday.

Markets and fairs

The central markets Virgínia Franco, Thales Ferraz and Antônio Franco, as well as the sectoral (neighborhood) markets, will be open from 6am to 1pm.

The street markets that take place in the Dom Pedro, Augusto Franco, Orlando Dantas and Siqueira Campos neighborhoods will be held normally.

Parks and Chica Chaves

Parque Governador Augusto Franco (Sementeira), in the Jardins neighborhood, will open from 5 am to 9:30 pm.
The Poxim Ecological Park, in Inácio Barbosa, will operate normally, from 6am to 6pm.
The Chica Chaves Crafts Center, in the Industrial District, will be closed.

Orla Por do Sol

Boarding and disembarking services at Orla Pôr do Sol (Mosqueiro) will take place without any changes, from 8am to 5pm.

Hemosis

This May 1st, there will be no opening hours at the Sergipe Hemotherapy Center (Hemose), however, the release of blood and blood components for Hemorrede operates on a 24-hour basis. Hemose returns normally on Thursday, 2nd, from 7am to 5pm.

Ferreira Costa

Due to the May 1st holiday, Ferreira Costa stores will be closed.

Ceac

The Citizen Service Center (Ceac) units, located in the capital and interior of the state, will be closed and return to normal activities on Thursday, the 2nd. Each Ceac point has specific opening hours during normal business hours .

Detran/SE

The Sergipe State Traffic Department (Detran/SE) does not provide services on Wednesday, 1st. The service will reestablish normal opening hours on Thursday, 2nd, with service from 7am to 5:30pm.

SES

During the Labor Day holiday, the equipment of the State Department of Health (SES), such as the Imaging and Reception Center (Cadi), Sergipe Health Care Center (Case), Comprehensive Health Care Center da Mulher (Caism) and Out-of-Home Treatment will not operate, returning on Thursday, 2. Hospitals and Samu 192 Sergipe will operate normally.

Ipesaúde

This Wednesday, May 1st, World Labor Day, the Sergipe State Server Health Promotion and Assistance Institute (Ipesaúde) will have its opening hours changed. The municipality’s units in Aracaju and in the interior will be closed. On Thursday, 2, Ipesaúde activities will return to normal operation.

Banese

During the May 1st holiday, Banco do Estado de Sergipe (Banese) and Banese branches will be closed. Despite this, services continue to be provided through self-service channels, such as ATMs, internet banking and the bank’s application.

Aracaju Health

The emergency rooms at the Fernando Franco and Nestor Piva municipal hospitals are normally open 24 hours a day (including care for cases of flu syndromes), in addition to the Lourdes Nogueira Municipal Maternity Hospital (MMLN).

The dental emergency will operate normally, 24 hours a day, at the Dental Specialties Center, located at Rua Carlos Pereira de Melo, 450, Farolândia neighborhood.

The Ver a Vida Program’s services only run until this Tuesday, the 30th, returning on Thursday, the 2nd.

In the Psychosocial Care Network (Reaps), service at the Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps) continues with an open door, with only nighttime reception for users already undergoing monitoring.

The Family Health Units and the SMS administrative headquarters will be closed, returning to operation on May 2nd.

The Medical Specialties Center (Cemar Siqueira Campos), part of the Specialized Care Network (Reae), which operates from Monday to Friday, will not operate this Wednesday, resuming services on Thursday, the 2nd, from 7am.

The Flu Syndrome Care and Screening Center, which also operates from Monday to Friday, will not operate this Wednesday, the 1st, returning on Thursday, the 2nd, from 7am.
