A video of the moment when a man shoots defendant of a jury, in the backlands of Pernambuco, went viral on social media this Monday (1st). The case took place at the São José do Belmonte Forum, in November 2023, during the trial of the accused of killing the shooter’s father. The information is from g1.
“The victim, the defendant Francisco Cleidivaldo Mariano de Moura, is alive and at large; the jury has not been reconvened and a new date has not been assigned yet. The shooter, identified as Cristiano Alves Terto, is under arrest. The attempted murder carried out by Cristiano Alves Terto is already being tried”, said the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE) in a note.
The Military Police registered the case as attempted murder. A 38 caliber revolver was seized from the shooter. The victim was hit with 6 shots.
How the crime occurred
During the jury, which took place on November 29, 2023, it is possible to see the suspect sitting in the audience, next to a woman. At one point, he gets up on his own, walks towards the defendant and shoots him in the center.
