After a video of allegedly dancing without panties went viral, singer Leonardo’s dancers spoke out denying the accusations

Leonardo’s dancers defended themselves against accusations of indecency, explaining that, under their short dresses, they wear pieces known as “sunkinis” — a mix of swim trunks and bikinis, with fabric that adheres to the skin, in skin color. They highlighted that the viral video was altered using artificial intelligence and visual editing techniques to obscure the presence of these intimate pieces in the image.
“Can’t you see that they erased our sunkini?” asked Marissol Dias, one of the dancers. In a video published together, the six dancers stated, in unison, while holding panties in their hands: “We are Leonardo’s dancers and it’s obvious that we wear panties”reinforcing its position.
However, the dancers’ response was not well received by all followers, and many internet users persisted in the idea that the women were without any clothing underneath their costumes. Dancer Camila Luana also got involved in the discussion, responding to some comments with sarcasm. “It seems like we are left with nothing because it is the lifting that we do. Used to disappear. I think it has to do with the language too. Try it. It will be good for the universe!”she suggested to an internet user.
