King Charles III resumes public agenda after starting cancer treatment
The monarch reopened his public agenda with a symbolic visit to the cancer treatment center at the Macmillan Cancer Center university hospital in London, accompanied by his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
The two spoke to doctors and patients at the hospital. Very smiling, Charles waved to the public gathered outside the hospital.

The monarch had been holding only private meetings and official dispatches since the beginning of February, when Buckingham Palace announced that doctors detected a type of cancer — not yet disclosed — in the king after he underwent prostate surgery.
According to the palace, the Today’s visit was “the first in a series” of public engagements that the king will have in the coming weeksencouraged by his medical team.
Also last week, doctors said they had encouraged the monarch to reopen his public agenda following “progress” in his treatment. Buckingham Palace said it still does not know how long the monarch’s treatment will last.
