Rio Grande do Sul is expected to record above-average temperatures in April

Throughout this month, the weather in Brazil tends to have temperatures above average in most regions, including Rio Grande do Sul – especially the North of the State –, Midwest of Santa Catarina, North and West of Paraná, interior of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul.

These areas will have greater dominance of hot and dry air masses, which will prevail for much of the month, bringing higher temperatures and some periods of even intense heat, especially in Mato Grosso do Sul.

During April, there will also be more cold air inflows, especially in the south of Brazil. These first cold air masses of autumn with greater intensity will encounter a dominance of hot air over a large part of the country, which should cause storms over Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and areas of Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul

Weather forecast

The day dawned sunny in Porto Alegre this Monday (1st), with rain showers forecast in the afternoon and evening and a maximum temperature of 31°C.

For this Tuesday (2), according to Climatempo, the forecast is sunny with lots of clouds throughout the day and the possibility of rain at any time. Thermometers read between 19°C and 24°C.

On Wednesday (3), the weather remains firm in the Capital, with a minimum of 21°C and a maximum of 30°C. On Thursday (4), rain should return to the city.
