ALAGOAS – Detran Alagoas promotes defensive riding workshop for motorcyclists aiming at traffic safety.

On April 9th, the Alagoas State Traffic Department (Detran) will hold the 2nd Defensive Riding Workshop for Motorcyclists, an initiative that seeks to educate motorcycle drivers about good practices in traffic. The event will take place from 2pm to 4pm, with 100 free spaces available for motorcyclists interested in participating.

According to the Superintendent of Traffic Education and Driver Training at Detran, Sonály Bastos, the workshop will have a theoretical part, where participants will receive the necessary guidance to prepare in a well-founded way, and a practical part, to apply the knowledge acquired. The talk will be given by André Mendonça, Honda sales manager, and during the event, there will be a draw and distribution of gifts for participants.

The initiative is the result of a partnership between Detran, Atlântica Motos, Sest/Senat and the Association of App Workers and Motoboys of Alagoas (Atamal). Registration can be made through the link available on the Detran website.
