Taking advantage of the Workers’ Party, which started at 5pm, in front of Palácio Rio Branco, in the capital, server Ian Maia made a stop at the Solidarity Economy Fair. “It’s even difficult to choose, there’s a lot,” said the worker.

In a festive atmosphere at the event held by the Commercial, Industrial and Services Association of Acre (Acisa), with support from the government of the State of Acre, Ian, who works at the Acre State Hospital Foundation (Fundhacre), praised the variety of foods at the fair.

The variety mentioned by Ian is due to the work of 46 entrepreneurs selling foods such as fried snacks, tacacás, sweets, pizzas, broths and other options. The event started early, at 5pm, and continues with a program that runs until midnight, filled with lots of music with a performance by Trio Furacão, Dj Black and the main show by singer Naiara Azevedo.

Mr. Francisco de Alencar is the owner of a bodywork and painting workshop and, upon bringing his family to the Workers’ Party, he highlighted: “The structure is great, the organization is perfect”. The worker also praised the safety of the event and confirmed that it was a good space to bring the family.

The Secretary of State for Tourism and Entrepreneurship (Sete) highlighted the importance of fairs like this for the local economy: “In this edition of the fair, at the Workers’ Festival, there are 46 entrepreneurs in both the food and beverage sectors, so the The work that the government of Acre develops, through Sete, is essential to grow the economy and benefit several families that work in the Solidarity Economy, in addition to guaranteeing a beautiful and lively party”, emphasized the Sete manager.

Seu Adriel Andrade, who sells typical dishes from the region such as pirarucu à casaca, highlighted the sales expectations during the event: “We are expecting an excellent audience, which will surprise our expectations. May it be a day of good sales for all of us, for the solidarity economy,” he said.

The seller of tacacá, oxtail and tucupí broth, Márcia Araújo, highlighted the opportunity to generate income during the event. “It’s a well-publicized event. So, there’s always an audience for us,” said Márcia.

Sete’s Director of Entrepreneurship, Bianca Marques, highlighted the investment in the fair’s structure: “I believe that in this event we managed to innovate, we developed a new model of stalls, a physical structure that provides a bigger and better space for customers and entrepreneurs” , he explained.

“Fairs that attract public attention are always very important for Solidarity Economy entrepreneurs, because they guarantee and complement the monthly income of each person who invests in quality products to serve their clientele”, added the secretary of Sete, Marcelo Messias .
