Tocantins is the second fastest state in Brazil to open a company. The Government of Tocantins, through the State Commercial Board (Jucetins), achieved the result in the national ranking of agility in business registration processes, in March. The data comes from the Federal Government, through the National Network for the Simplification of Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses (Redesim).
According to the ranking, the entrepreneur takes, on average, 8 hours, 46 minutes and 10 seconds to complete the registration of his company with Jucetins. This time takes into account responses from city halls for the prior address consultation process and from the Federal Revenue Service for registration validation. Jucetins’ performance is also more efficient in registration, which is the responsibility of the body, as it takes just 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the analysis of processes.
The data shows the state’s evolution in just one month. In February, Jucetins was in 4th position, with a time of approximately 11 hours. In 30 days, Tocantins managed to reduce the final average by approximately 3 hours.
The president of Jucetins, Issam Saado, highlighted that the result achieved is the result of the competence of the state government and the municipality’s employees. “Second place in the national ranking of time to open companies is proof of Governor Wanderlei Barbosa’s commitment and strategic investment in technology, boosting the state’s economic development. This excellent performance is also due to the dedication of our employees, who demonstrate commitment and professionalism in making the business environment more agile and efficient in Tocantins”, he emphasized.
