The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced the postponement of the Brazilian Championship games for clubs in Rio Grande do Sul, due to the heavy rains hitting the state. The measure affects Gaucho teams from all divisions at home and away, and was taken due to the emergency situation experienced in the state after the storms.

All games that would take place until next Monday, the 6th, still do not have a new date scheduled. Grêmio would host Criciúma next Sunday, the 5th, while Juventude had a duel with Atlético-GO on Monday, the 6th. Inter would travel to face Cruzeiro, on Saturday, the 4th.

The games for the Brazilian Women’s Championship, between Inter and São Paulo, and for the Brazilian Women’s Under-20 Championship, between Inter and Goiás, which would take place this Wednesday, 1st, were also postponed.

In series C, São José would face Volta Redonda, while Ypiranga would play against Náutico. In Series D, Novo Hamburgo would host Concórdia, Hercílio Luz would face Avenida and Brazil would play Barra. The Gaucho Football Federation had also already postponed the entire Access Division round.
