Income Tax Taxpayers will be able to donate part of the amount to children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, cared for in Cuiabáin the campaign “Transform your Contribution into Solidarity: Donate your Income Tax”, which will be launched this Wednesday (3), at 9am, at the Liu Arruda Cultural Space, at the State Court of Auditors (TCE-MT).
Donation can be made for a reduction in the amount payable (in the case of tax due), or an increase in the amount to be refunded from IR. Individuals will be able to allocate 3% and legal entities 1% of the tax due.
According to the campaign, the taxpayer will not have any financial loss or any additional expense, he will only allocate part of the tax due. If you have tax to pay, the donation will be deducted from the amount to be paid.
According to the campaign, if the taxpayer who has an amount to refund wants to donate, for example, 100 reais to a certain fund, he will receive that amount back, along with the amount of the refund, duly adjusted.
The initiative, by the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents and the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), is in partnership with the Public Ministry of the State of Mato Grosso, and aims to promote solidarity and contribute to the well-being of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.
At the campaign launch event, ways of raising funds will be presented, as well as an exhibition of projects aimed at promoting, protecting and defending the fundamental rights of this public.
The final date to submit the declaration is May 31, at 11:59 pm. From this year onwards, this will be the fixed period for submitting the declaration.
