After seven seasons, Paulo Coco says goodbye to the technical command of Praia Clube. The coach’s next challenge is in front of Atlanta, a member of League One Volleyball (LOV), in the United States.
This Tuesday (30/4), in a post on Instagram, the official LOV profile introduced Paulo Coco and welcomed the Brazilian.
“Paulo has been a technical assistant for the Brazilian team since 2003, winning gold at the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008) and London (2012), as well as silver in Tokyo (2021). He also won silver with Brazil at three world championships. As the club’s professional coach, Paulo won the South American Club Championship twice, as well as five gold medals in the Superliga and the 2023/24 Copa do Brasil… Welcome, Paulo.”

Paulo Coco arrived in Uberlândia in the 2017/18 season. In his first year, he led Praia Clube to an unprecedented victory in the Superliga. In 2022/23 he won the national league once again.
The coach also has four Super Cup titles (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021), three Campeonato Mineiro titles (2019, 2021 and 2023), two South American titles (2021 and 2023) and one Copa Brasil (2024).
