After anonymous complaint, PCCE arrests man in possession of weapons, drugs and ammunition in Caucaia

A quick action coordinated by the Civil Police of the State of Ceará (PCCE) culminated in the arrest in the act of an 18-year-old man in possession of firearms, ammunition, a quantity of drugs and money. The entire police action took place, this Monday (1st), in the municipality of Caucaia, in the Integrated Security Area 11 (AIS 11) of the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. Notebook with notes, cell phones and precision scales were also seized.

Investigators from the Caucaia Metropolitan Police Station went out into the field this morning to investigate an anonymous complaint about the sale of drugs in a property located in the Tabapuazinho neighborhood, in Caucaia. When going to the address targeted by the investigations, the civil police officers found an 18-year-old man with a vast amount of illicit material. With the suspect, who as a teenager committed criminal acts similar to the crimes of illegal possession of a firearm, bodily harm and robbery, two firearms, ammunition, drug packets and money were found.

All material and the suspect were taken to the police station. At the police unit, he was charged with being part of a criminal organization, drug trafficking, association with drug trafficking, illegal possession of a restricted weapon and illegal possession of a permitted firearm. Investigations into this case continue, with the aim of arresting the other participants in this criminal scheme in the region.
