Detran-MS releases digital consultation of vehicle seized in Campo Grande yards – General

With yet another digital tool, Detran-MS (Mato Grosso do Sul State Traffic Department) simplifies the lives of citizens who have had their vehicle removed. To identify the accredited yard where the vehicle was collected and initiate the rescue procedures, citizens can consult the entire process online.

The tool is now available on the “Meu Detran” service portal and the “Detran MS” application. To access, you must be logged in and provide vehicle information. After filling in the data, the system will indicate the location of the asset and the debts to be paid.

In the yard, the owner will have a service window, and can have access to all information pertinent to the vehicle. “Citizens will be able to regularize vehicle debts for release. If the owner wishes, they can choose to pay in up to 12 installments on the card”, explained Campo Grande regional manager, Juliana Castro.

Since February, vehicles collected during inspection operations have been released directly at yards accredited by Detran-MS, in the Capital. In two months of operation, two yards recorded approximately 300 releases, including the regularization of more than 100 vehicles.

Before the digital tool, the owner needed to go to the Detran-MS headquarters to seek information about the vehicle and collect existing debts. The next step was to go to the yard and make the necessary adjustments. Once this was done, he returned to Detran to seek the release request, which allowed the vehicle to be removed from the yard.

The new service allows the owner to negotiate and redeem the vehicle in the same place and offers numerous benefits, agility and savings.
