The micro-regional phase of the Minas Gerais School Games (Jemg) begins this Monday (1st) and will bring together more than 40 thousand student-athletes aged 12 to 17, from public and private schools in all regions of the state.
Jemg is divided into microregional, regional and state stages. The micro-regional stage is scheduled to take place until 26/5, and will cover 54 headquarters distributed across several regions of Minas Gerais. This stage for schools in Viçosa will begin on May 13th and will take place in Ponte Nova.
The champions of the collective modalities and the top four placed in chess in the micro-regional stage advance to the regional stage. The champions of the regional stage advance to the state stage.
Viçosa representatives
From March 18th to 22nd, Viçosa city hall held a municipal selection process to define its representatives in the micro-regional phase. They are: Colégio Equipe (men’s futsal modules 1 and 2 and women’s futsal module 2); Colégio Anglo (women’s futsal 1 and men’s basketball 1 and 2); Colégio Carmo (women’s volleyball 1 and 2); Alice Loureiro (men’s volleyball 1 and men’s handball 2; Esedrat (women’s handball 2).
