Brazil is the first country to receive the AI Academy program, promoted by Google to empower startups working with solutions that use Artificial intelligence (AI). For 10 weeks, 10 selected companies will receive personalized mentoring and training with learning trails and laboratories focused on Google Cloud cloud computing, in addition to delving deeper into topics such as app modernization, security, AI and machine learning.

Within the program, startups also have access to a platform for networking among themselves and with the big tech alumni network. According to Google, the initiative is in line with the objective of supporting innovation in startups.

  • Advolve (SP)
  • Beep Health (SP)
  • Biti9 (RJ)
  • Creators (SP)
  • Easy B2B (SP)
  • Merama (SP)
  • Nama (MG)
  • Rocketmat (SP)
  • I taxed (On foot
  • Twiggy (SP)

They all run their IT infrastructures in the Google cloud.

André Barrence, head of Google for Startups for Latin America, highlighted that this will be a unique opportunity for startups of different levels of maturity to use AI in their products and services. “We know that artificial intelligence is transforming the world of business. Therefore, the AI Academy will play an important role in helping to equip Brazilian companies with tools and knowledge that enhance their solutions according to each one’s needs, promoting innovation and competitiveness on the global stage,” he said in a statement.

To continue promoting AI in Brazil, Google for Startups registration is open for two other free courses: “Startup School” — immersive virtual training on May 21 and June 13 aimed at helping startups transform their businesses using Google Cloud’s latest conversational generative AI products and solutions — and “AI Immersion” — training with five classes designed to help technology professionals of all levels master Google’s AI tools, such as Gemini and Google AI Studio.
