Known as “Harry Potter’s Castle”, the Gothic-style building in the port city of Odessa, in southern Ukraine, was destroyed after a Russian attack this Monday (29).
The building got its nickname due to its similarity to Hogwarts Castle portrayed in the “Harry Potter” films. The building is part of the Odessa Law Academy. (See the video below)
Four people died and 27 were injured in the Russian missile attack on residential buildings and civil infrastructure in the region, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper.

The Russian offensive came as Ukraine awaits military supplies promised by the United States and Europe.
Unarmed, Ukrainian troops have struggled to resist Russian advances on the battlefield and were recently forced to make a tactical withdrawal from three villages in the East.
This Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that its forces had taken the village of Semenivka. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said new Western supplies had started to arrive, but slowly.
