Three people die after collision between pickup truck and truck on road in Bahia; section of BR-242 is closed | Bahia

Three people died after a crash between a pickup truck and a truck on BR-242, in a section of Ibotirama, in western Bahia. The collision occurred on Thursday afternoon (28) and caused the highway to be closed.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the victims were in the truck and died instantly. So far, the identities have not been released.

The driver of the vehicle survived, but was rescued in serious condition.

Images of the accident show that the truck was completely destroyed by the collision.

The truck, which was transporting beer, went down the shoulder. The driver of that second vehicle was not injured.
