Partnership between Setur-RN and AGN will expand access to credit for the sector – VoeNews

The meeting calendar is being formatted with a first event scheduled for the first half of April.

Entrepreneurs in the Rio Grande do Norte tourism chain will have the opportunity to learn about and access credit alternatives through the partnership between the RN Tourism Secretariat (Setur) and the Rio Grande do Norte Development Agency (AGN-RN). The joint action should, among other actions, promote meetings to publicize and serve businesspeople in the segment in the state.

The partnership’s main objective is to encourage investment in improving services and infrastructure, expanding products in the tourism chain in the Potiguar hubs and promoting economic and social development in the state. A calendar of meetings is being formatted with a first event scheduled for the first half of April.

The meetings will bring together representatives from various institutions representing the sector to present the financing lines available at the financial institution, detail the products, answer questions and bring the possibility of financing to entrepreneurs present in the state’s tourist centers.

Financing was made available by the institution via the General Tourism Fund (Fungetur), credit for Sustainability (FNE) and Innovation (Finep), in addition to the microcredit program itself, which also serves informal entrepreneurs and individual microentrepreneurs.

The financing granted by the Development Agency ranges from R$3,000 to R$400,000. Operations carried out in microcredit benefit from the performance bonus, that is, by paying the installments on time, the entrepreneur does not pay the interest associated with the contracted credit.

The first working meeting was held this Thursday (21) and brought together the CEO of AGN, Márcia Maia, the presidential advisor, Elan Miranda, the Secretary of Tourism of RN, Solange Portela and the sub-coordinator of tourism regionalization , Mércia Motta, at the Setur headquarters, at the RN Convention Center.
