“The flame of Labor and its ideas is lit in our bases”, assesses Manoel Dias

The Labor Circuit is in full swing, traveling to different locations across the country with the necessary political and managerial training to prepare party cadres interested in running in this year’s municipal elections.

Carried out by the Leonel Brizola – Alberto Pasqualini Foundation (FLB-AP), through the Labor Managers Training Center (CFGT), the training has as its central theme “The Construction of Labor Management”, with exhibitions that bring relevant discussions about the PDT’s achievements over the decades and the importance of strengthening management skills and competencies to offer better government to society.

After Guarulhos (SP) and the municipalities of the Costa Doce Gaúcha and South Region (RS) – Guaíba, Barra do Ribeiro, Tapes, Camaquã, Pelotas, Arroio Grande and Piratini, with around 70 pre-candidates –, last Monday On Friday (22) it was the turn of pedestrianists from Florianópolis (SC), as well as other municipalities in Santa Catarina, to listen and debate all the issues exposed by professor José Carlos Rassier, director of the CFGT.

“An exceptional activity, with the presence of pre-candidates from three cities in Santa Catarina, including the capital. In each circuit we see the quality of our staff and how we can make a difference in cities with the pillars of labor governance”, said Professor Rassier.

As in previous editions, the Florianópolis meeting was attended by Manoel Dias, national president of the Leonel Brizola – Alberto Pasqualini Foundation (FLB-AP) and national general secretary of the PDT, and also had the participation of state deputy Rodrigo Minotto, president from the PDT of Santa Catarina.

Manoel Dias, declared himself “moved, highlighting the diversity and quality of approaches and how the flame of Labor and its ideals is alive at the base”, reiterating that this activity will be “permanent and aimed at ensuring that those who govern in the name of PDT make a difference in their cities and regions”.

Inspiration

Another much celebrated stage of the Labor Circuit was the second, held in March, which brought together more than 50 people, including virtual participants and those who watched the broadcast via YouTube, from the state headquarters of the PDT in São Paulo. The event was attended by the vice-president of FLB-AP, professor Luiz Lemos, and Henrique Vitta, executive secretary of FLB-AP/SP, who declared that he found it very rewarding to be able to participate in events that highlight the relevance of public management as a form to promote concrete transformations for society.

“In the same way, it is very inspiring for me to learn more about the contributions of labor in our history, with policies that have become a reference, like the Cieps, in education, which continues for decades reinforcing the importance of building good public policies that transform positively affect people’s lives”, declared Vitta.

Next editions
