In a coordinated action this Wednesday (27), the Civil Police of the State of Alagoas (PC/AL) managed to capture two individuals accused of perpetrating domestic violence against their ex-partners. The individuals, aged 32 and 52, were found in the cities of Paulo Jacinto and Cajueiro, respectively.

This operation stands out both for its repressive aspect, by ensuring the application of judicial decisions and current laws, and for its educational value, by highlighting to the community and perpetrators that acts of violence within the family context are unacceptable criminals and that there are institutions committed to combating such transgressions. Delegate Fernando Lustosa, commenting on the operation, emphasized the importance of the legal and institutional response to domestic violence, demonstrating the authorities’ commitment to protecting victims and holding perpetrators accountable.

The arrests were carried out in compliance with warrants issued by the Courts of the Single Office of the Districts of Quebrangulo and Viçosa, demonstrating the effective collaboration between different bodies of the justice system to address and mitigate domestic violence in the state of Alagoas.
