The deadline for the civil service of the government of the state of Rio de Janeiro to deliver the Declaration of Assets and Values (DBV) through Sispatri (System for the Control of Patrimonial Assets of Public Agents of the State Executive Branch) began last Monday ( 25). The procedure is mandatory for all active duty employees, including commissioned officers. Declaration must be submitted by June 30th.

Employees must declare all assets and sources of income, such as real estate, financial investments and cash. As provided for in State Decree 49,005 of 2024, the delivery of the declaration can only be carried out after importing the data provided to the Federal Revenue of Brazil. The entire process will be carried out exclusively digitally, with no longer the possibility of physical delivery of the DBV.

According to the state government, failure to comply with the established deadline may result in a disciplinary offense to be investigated by the Sectoral Internal Affairs Units of the Agencies, generating sanctions. An employee who fails to submit a declaration may be subject to an administrative disciplinary process (PAD), with the consequences of various sanctions, including a warning and, as a last resort, dismissal.

Access to the Public Agents’ Patrimonial Assets Control System must be carried out via the RJ Digital Single Portal at www.rj.gov.br/sispatri.
