Over the last week, between March 19th and 21st, representatives of the National Union of Federal Agricultural Tax Auditors (Anffa Sindical) were present in cities in Pernambuco, for important meetings with Agricultural Auditors and state authorities.

Meeting with the Pernambuco Trade Union Delegate

The first stop took place at the Federal Superintendency of Agriculture of Pernambuco (SFA/PE), on Tuesday morning, in a meeting with the state’s Union Delegate.

The vice-president of the Union, Ricardo Aurélio, looked back on his career and explained the general and specific negotiation tables. Furthermore, he highlighted that, according to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the career that is restructured will not have a linear adjustment.

Finally, he spoke about the mobilization organized by the category since January and how it is fundamental.

The legal director, Rogério Ferreira, highlighted that the activity of Operation Restructuring is within the law. “The writs of mandamus do not affect the member, but rather the manager, who is questioned about the procedural deadline,” he states.

The representative of the National Mobilization Council (CNM) for the Northeast region, Eduardo Piauilino, was also present to answer his colleagues’ questions.

Meeting at the Port of Suape

Still on Tuesday, the team headed to the Port of Suape, in the municipalities of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Ipojuca (PE), for a meeting with the International Agricultural Surveillance Unit (Vigiagro).

On that occasion, a career retrospective and the importance of Operation Restructuring were also the main topics of the meeting. According to Rogério Ferreira, the biggest doubts are in relation to the MGI’s proposals, at the negotiation tables.

Present at the meeting were the vice-president of the Union, Ricardo Aurélio, the representative of the National Mobilization Council (CNM) for the Northeast region, Eduardo Piauilino, and the Union Delegate of Pernambuco, Luiz Gonzaga Oliveira Filho.

Meeting at the Federal Agricultural Defense Laboratory

On Wednesday, the first meeting took place at the Federal Agricultural Defense Laboratory of Pernambuco. The same group of Union representatives addressed the presence of the National Association of Federal Agricultural Inspection Technicians (Anteffa) in the movement.

At the moment, the director of legal affairs spoke about the importance of the association and its presence at the negotiating table with the MGI. “Anteffa participates as a guest, due to the fact that the Ministry negotiates only with unions, which would exclude the participation of that association”.

Meeting with Secretary of Planning and Urbanism of Recife City Hall

Also on Wednesday, Anffa Sindical met with the Secretary of Urban Policy and Licensing of the City of Recife, Carlos Muniz. On that occasion, the Union presented its agenda to the authority and spoke about strengthening industries in Pernambuco and sought support for career restructuring.

According to Rogério Ferreira, the Secretary committed to forwarding the category’s claim to the city’s Mayor, João Campos, and, subsequently, to the Minister and Vice President of the Republic, Geraldo Alckmin.

Meeting with Vigiagro in Petrolina (PE)

On Thursday, the first meeting took place in Petrolina (PE), in a meeting with members of the International Agricultural Surveillance Unit.

Ricardo Aurélio highlighted a meeting with the MGI, which was not scheduled, as an example of the importance of the CNM’s presence in Brasília.

On this occasion, Eduardo Piauilino commented on harassment and working conditions.

Rogério Ferreira, on the other hand, guided members in relation to writs of mandamus. “They must be forwarded to the CEM and this, to the legal department, for analysis and necessary measures later”, he explained.

Finally, Luiz Gonzaga highlighted the importance of engagement, strengthening the movement.

Meeting with Valexport

The team’s last commitment took place on Thursday afternoon, in a meeting with the Association of Producers and Exporters of Vegetables and Derivatives of the São Francisco Valley (Valexport).

The Association’s director, Caio Coelho, and the Executive Manager, Tassio Lustosa, were present on the occasion. Second, the director of Anffa Sindical, both showed interest in supporting the category’s agenda.
