Hotline calls for information on fugitive for running over ex-partner twice | Rio de Janeiro

Rio – Hotline Denúncia published, this Friday (26), a poster asking for information on the location of fugitive Igor dos Santos Silva, 30, wanted for running over his ex-partner twice. The case happened in February this year on Rua Melancia, in Curicica, in the West Zone, and is being investigated by the 32nd DP (Taquara).

The attempted femicide was caught on security cameras. Images show the victim running along the road and asking for help from a passing cyclist. Igor accelerates the car and hits them both. He then reverses the vehicle and accelerates again to hit his ex-partner, while the other boy manages to escape. Both had only minor injuries.

Still in February, the 2nd Criminal Court of the Capital issued an arrest warrant for Igor for attempted feminicide, domestic violence and attempted murder. Last year, the fugitive had already failed to comply with an urgent protective measure after setting fire to the victim’s house.
