Sammy used her stories to complain about an attitude that a teacher had towards her son during the Mother’s Day presentation. According to the influencer, Jake he was singing but, at a certain point, he started crying and was reportedly “scolded” by the educator, but that wasn’t exactly what internet users saw in the images.

On his Instagram, Sammy told how he felt after witnessing the situation where the school teacher had reprimanded the child’s emotions, who cried during a song.

“Unfortunately, the school Jake goes to isn’t based on respectful education, it’s traditional. Obviously, I was like… watching him cry. That’s why it’s so important to spread awareness about respectful education (…) They treat children as if they were robots, but he was super excited”, he began.

‘Not all places will continue how you treat your child at home’

The content creator, who follows and talks a lot on her profile about respectful education, comments that even though she raises her son this way, he will be exposed to people who won’t treat him the same way.

“Situations and practical examples like these are important for us to understand that even if you want to educate your child in respectful education, they will be exposed to environments that will not treat them that way. Not all places will continue with how you treat your child at home and he needs to be aware of this. I didn’t show it in the video, but in the end she sat him on her lap and I called him, hugged him and we left. Unfortunately, we adapt as best we can, but we go out.
