This Wednesday (27), the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a yellow warning of intense rain, with potential danger, for regions of Vale do Acre, Southwest Amazonense, South Amazonense and Vale do Juruá. The alert is valid until this Thursday, 28.

The municipalities in Acre that are mentioned in the alert are: Acrelândia, Assis Brasil, Bujari, Brasiléia, Capixaba and Cruzeiro do Sul, while those in the state of Amazonas are Atalaia do Norte, Boca do Acre, Benjamin Constant and Eirunepé.

The forecast says that the amount of rain is expected to range from 20mm to 50mm/day, with intense winds that could reach speeds of up to 60 km/h.

Even on yellow alert, there is a low risk in relation to electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.

The tip is in case of gusts of wind, do not take shelter under trees, as there is a slight risk of falling and electrical discharges, and do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs. Avoid using electronic devices plugged into the socket.
