Teacher fired after her nude photos were leaked by students

The case that had repercussions this Tuesday, 26th, took place in a state school in the surroundings of the Federal District, in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the history teacher, Bruna Flor de Macedo, allegedly lent her cell phone to some students to take photos at an event school, where they accessed their personal folders and found their nude photos, which were then shared.

The teacher reported that the photos taken with her cell phone by the students at a school event were about Black Awareness Month, which was important and the photographs would be used for a pedagogical activity, however the students would have accessed Bruna’s personal folders, finding their nude photos and then shared them with other students at the institution.

Bruna reported that the school management found out about what happened after a coordinator noticed several students gathered in a group and when she got closer she realized that they were looking at a nude photo of Bruna.

The teacher would have worked until the last hour without being informed, when everyone was already aware of the situation, I only found out at 6pm when the director called me to a meeting at the end of the day, saying it was just between me and her, but There were six people in the room, I felt inhibited, where she told me the fact, I was shocked, says the teacher.

After what happened, Bruna still reports that she started to be mistreated by the school management and by other teachers at the institution, I felt violated, violated, the school management created a letter saying that the students felt embarrassed to attend my classes. because they saw my naked photo, a reversal of who was the victim in the situation, says the teacher.

Bruna had a five-year contract with the school and the dismissal occurred eight months after the contract began, in 2023.

In defense, the school stated that it instructs teachers in the contract and school rules not to lend their personal devices to students and that it advised the teacher to contact the police.

To date, there has been no response from the State Department of Education (Seduc), the teacher also reported the leaks of her photos to the Civil Police (PC), however, to date there has also been no return of information about the case from the delegate responsible.
