Samsung launches 2024 line of Smart TVs with a focus on AI features in Brazil

This Tuesday (7), Samsung presented its new televisions in Brazil, at an event held in São Paulo. Their highlight is the presence of Artificial intelligence resources. The manufacturer has called the products “AI TV”.

The models come equipped with the NQ8 AI Gen3 or NQ4 AI Gen2 processor. The components allow you to perform resolution upscaling, increasing and improving the image of low-resolution videos.

In terms of audio, the new televisions have 3D sound and combined operation with soundbars. AI-compatible devices also support SmartThings, to serve as a hub for the brand’s other smart devices.

The Tyzen system now allows the creation of avatars for each profile, as well as apps for daily activities. The televisions also feature the free streaming service Samsung TV Plus and the Gaming Hub cloud gaming platform.

In terms of sustainability, the products come with traditional battery-free control and contain technology capable of adjusting brightness and power settings automatically. Check out the main features of each TV below.

Samsung AI TV Neo QLED 8K

The Neo QLED 8K line has been updated with the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, which promises performance twice as fast as the previous generation, in addition to eight times more neural networks, from 64 to 512.

This category has the QN900D and QN800D models. The first is only available in the 85-inch size. The second offers alternatives in 65, 75 and 85 inches. The 8K AI Upscaling Pro on these televisions allows you to transform programs and films to bring them closer to the quality of 8K resolution.

Among the main sound features are the Active Voice Amplifier Pro, to reduce background noise for dialogue; Sound in Motion Pro, which enhances the audio experience by synchronizing it with the action on the screen; and Adaptive Sound Pro, which intelligently adjusts the sound to the content and acoustics of the environment.

Samsung AI TV Neo QLED 4K

The Neo QLED 4K line also has a series of updates. The QN90D is an AI Gaming TV that combines quantum dots with a Mini LED panel and has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, with Motion Xcelerator and FreeSync Premium Pro as its main features, in order to improve fluidity during your gaming experience. gambling.

There is also Dolby Atmos support for more immersive sound and size options of 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches. The presence of Artificial Intelligence in the processor is applied to the configuration of your game according to genre, through AI Auto Game Mode.

The QN85D TV promises more than a billion colors, thanks to the material used in the display. The features are driven by the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor. The panel comes in variants in sizes of 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. The refresh rate reaches up to 120 Hz, which also helps to improve the smoothness of images. Apart from the presence of integrated Alexa.

The Artificial Intelligence in these models is applied when saving energy, through AI Energy Mode. It also appears to provide a more immersive audio experience, with Dolby Atmos, Virtual Motion Sound and Sound Sync features. In addition to adjusting the image according to the user’s preference, through AI Customization Mode.

Samsung AI TV OLED

The second generation of Samsung’s OLED line, the AI ​​TVs S95D and S90D stand out for delivering pure contrast, characteristic of the material used, with 8 million self-illuminating pixels.

They are also equipped with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and provide features such as Real Depth Enhancer and OLED HDR AI Pro, designed to enhance image quality for the user. The Motion Xcelerator 144 Hz allows for smoother refresh rates and fast responses, especially in games.

The S95 can be found with a thinner design and a size of 65 inches. The S90D promises a better fit for each home, with screens ranging from 55 to 77 inches.

Samsung The Frame 2024

The new The Frame 2024 arrives in its updated version with an anti-glare matte screen, so that the user can see what is on display without any distractions or reflections – especially with light opposite to the display.

It comes with the Modern Frame design, less than 3 cm thick, to make it look like a painting. You can also make it a work of art while not displaying content, using Art Mode.

This TV was available in sizes of 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75 inches and has a QLED panel, with 4K resolution. In terms of sound, the speakers are compatible with Dolby Atmos technology.

Samsung QLED and Crystal UHD

To complete the list of televisions, Samsung also updated the QLED and Crystal UHD portfolio. In the first, the Q70D stands out for more than a billion colors and a rate of up to 120 Hz, with sizes of 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. In turn, the Q60D features AI Energy Mode and SmartThings, as well as a 50, 55, 65 and 75 inch screen.

In the second series, the most advanced is the DU8000, coming with a Dynamic Crystal panel, AI Energy Mode and 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 and 85 inch displays. The most affordable is the DU7700, which stands out for coming with Samsung TV Plus channels and cloud gaming via the Gaming Hub, with options of 43, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and 75 inches.

Samsung Music Frame and new soundbars

For the audio area, Samsung brought the Music Frame as a new feature. It has an artistic design inspired by The Frame and allows you to display personal photos or works of art while listening to sound wirelessly with smart features. This device can be used independently or paired with a TV and soundbar.

And speaking of soundbars, the Q series now has the Q990D. This arrives with an 11.1.4 channel configuration and wireless operation. There are also features like Dolby Atmos and Sound Grouping – the latter aimed at pulsating sound.

In turn, the S800D focuses on an ultra-thin design, with a body that seeks to deliver elegance and save space. All equipment is equipped with Q-Symphony technology, for full integration between the brand’s TVs and soundbars.
