According to the site’s sources, who requested anonymity because they were close to the situation, the Galaxy Book4 Edge should come out sometime in the second half of May, featuring an ARM processor from Qualcomm, in addition to featuring a 14-inch screen, 512 GB of storage space and 16 GB of RAM.
“Which” ARM processor? According to the new information, it will be a system on chip (SoC) Snapdragon X Elitewhich previous benchmarks have praised for battery conservation and power efficiency (and whose score it was even better than Intel lines).
It is worth mentioning, the current Galaxy Book4 (the base model that has not yet arrived in Brazil, in addition to the 360 version, the Pro and the Ultra) are all based on Intel’s 64-bit x86 architecture. TudoCelular recently tested the Pro version of the lineincluding.
The “Edge” of the name is still a mystery, according to Sam Mobile: the name has already been used by Samsung previously, to designate curved screen smartphones. However, no notebook launched by the company to date has a display with this feature. It could also be that the nickname is just a brand design – something to separate the lines with an Intel processor from the variant with an ARM processor.
Naturally, Samsung has not commented on the rumors.
