Stellar Bladea PlayStation exclusive that arrives this Friday (26) on PS5, drew a lot of attention for its vast and vibrant universe — in addition to the frenetic gameplay that seems to be a lot of fun. With the good reception on social media, both from critics and the public, now all we can do is know: the Korean hack ‘n’ slash will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S?
When it was announced five years ago, the game was known as Project Eve and also had versions planned for PC and Xbox One, as you can see in the first trailer. However, the Shift Up studio ended up entering into a partnership with Sony, which clearly changed the release plans.
The bad news is that there is no clear indication of a potential launch of Stellar Blade for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Typically, timed exclusive PlayStation titles include a disclaimer at the end of the trailers, indicating their exclusivity period — which is not the case with the Korean game.

Quoting Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth as an example, the trailer mentions that Square Enix’s RPG will not be available on other platforms until May 29th of this year — potentially, it should arrive on PC after that date. Remembering that the first part was released for computers a year later.
PC release likely
Another important information to consider is that Stellar Blade is distributed by Sony Interactive Entertainment itself. Therefore, it is even more unlikely that the game will reach PC or other platforms anytime soon.
However, it is worth mentioning that Sony has been investing efforts in porting its properties to the PC — the next one will even be Ghost of Tsushima. So who knows Stellar Blade Don’t receive a port to another platform in the future, right?
Of course, it’s also worth remembering that Microsoft launched several exclusives on the PS4 and PS5 recently. Will Sony be so good at this point to maintain diplomacy in the market and launch Stellar Blade on Xbox?
Meet Stellar Blade
In Stellar Blade players must save the planet from imminent extinction. Earth was devastated by powerful and threatening creatures — soon after being abandoned by humanity itself, which was forced to migrate to a colony in space.
You will control Eve, a paratrooper who left the space colony and returned to Earth with the intention of saving the planet — or at least what’s left of it.
As the protagonist defeats one by one of the plot’s enemies, she also pieces together the mysteries of the past, while exploring the ruins of human civilization and realizing that her mission will not be easy.
