Aquidauana handball team will compete in the Brazilian Championship

The Clube de Regatas Aquidauana de Handebol team, from AAH (Associação Aquidauanense de Handebol) left on the afternoon of Monday, 22nd, heading to the city of Anápolis, in the state of Goiás, where they will compete in the Brazilian Handball Championship, in the Taça Centro stage. -West, in the Male Cadet category.

The Aquidauan delegation is made up of students from state schools Dóris Mendes Trindade, Cândido Mariano and Marechal Deodoro da Fonseca, aged between 15 and 16.

The games are scheduled to take place from April 24th to 26th, at the Newton de Faria International Sports Gymnasium, in Anápolis. Clube de Regatas Aquidauana will make its debut on Wednesday, 24th, at 1 pm (Mato Grosso do Sul time), against Associação Audhaz de Goiás.

In addition to the support of parents and family, the Aquidauan handball team counts on logistical support from FEMA (Aquidauana Sports Foundation) and the Municipal Administration Secretariat.

Last week, from April 15th to 20th, the Aquidauana Handball Team defended the flag of Mato Grosso do Sul in the Central-West Cup, in the children’s category, held in the city of Ceilândia-DF. After five intense games, the Aquidauana team took 4th place among 7 teams, thus guaranteeing their place in the final phase scheduled for August 2024, with the host state to be defined.
