Campinas fans sell out tickets in five minutes for decisive duel with Cruzeiro < No Attack

Campinas and Cruzeiro meet this Thursday (4/4), at 6:30 pm, at Ginásio Taquaral, in the return game of the quarter-finals of the Men’s Superliga. The duel could seal the home team’s classification for the semifinals. Excited about the possibility, the fans sold out the available tickets in five minutes.

The São Paulo club started selling tickets for the match against Cruzeiro at 12pm. Just five minutes later, 12:05 pm, sales ended because all 2,000 tickets had been sold.

In the first match of the playoffs, Campinas defeated Cruzeiro by 3 sets to 0 (19/25, 25/27 and 22/25), in the middle of Riachão. In this way, Raposa’s 19-game unbeaten run ended.

The last time Cruzeiro was defeated by 3 sets to 0 in the Superliga was in the 2020/21 season. In that edition, Itapetininga beat Raposa in all partials, in the first match of the quarterfinals. In the second game, they sealed their qualification to the semi-finals by winning 3 sets to 2.
