Fear Street: Prom Queen is now in development!
Fear Street: Prom Queenthe next film in the franchise Street of Fear, is officially in production. The announcement was made by Netflix itself on its social networks, and came with a teaser showing some of the cast and behind-the-scenes of the project.
On X (formerly Twitter), Netflix Brasil wrote: “Students at Shadyside High have no idea what’s to come Fear Street: Prom Queen, my new film in the Fear Street franchise, is now in production.”

Previously, some cast names had been revealed: India Fowler (The Nevers), Suzanna Son (The Idol), Fina Strazza (Paper Girls), David Iacono (The Summer That Changed My Life), Ella Rubin (An Idea of You), Chris Klein (American Pie), Lily Taylor (Manhunt) It is Katherine Waterson (Perry Mason) would be some of the actors in the series. Now, another actress has been added to the production: Ariana Greenblattin Barbie It is Borderlands.
Called Fear Street: Prom Queen in English (Rua do Medo: Queen of the Ballin free translation), the film is based on the plot of the book A Prom queenby RL Stine, which was released in 1992.
The official description says: “Prom season at Shadyside High has begun, and the school’s gaggle of It Girls are busy with their usual sweet and terrifying campaigns for the crown. But when a brave stranger is unexpectedly appointed to the court and other girls begin mysteriously disappearing, the Class of ’88 must prepare for a prom night to remember.”
The fourth film in the franchise Street of Fear does not yet have a scheduled release date.
