Botafogo’s second goal against Flamengo in their 2-0 victory in the Brazilian Championship became a source of controversy after the match. The red-blacks complained about Diego Hernandez’s foul on Fabrício Bruno at the beginning of the play.

The attacker shared the play with the defender and Raphael Claus ordered it to continue. The ball immediately fell to Tchê Tchê, who played Jeffinho. The attacker rolled the ball for Savarino to finish and extend the advantage. Immediately after the move, Claus gave his own version to the VAR.

– For me it was nothing. You dug a lot, Toski. He threw his leg and threw himself. He dug a lot – said the field judge.

The analysis was carried out quickly by Rodolpho Toski Marques, responsible for video reviews in the cabin. The Paraná native agreed with the interpretation made on the pitch.

– I agree. No impact. Goal confirmed, had no impact. Normal game contact, lateralized. He feels the contact and jumps.

– On the second goal, for me it was a foul, I was just bigger than him, he hit my rib and for me, it was a foul. But he didn’t and I take responsibility, I have no problem with that – said the defender.
