Less than a week before their debut in the Libertadores, Fluminense already has a forecast of where they will train before the clash with Alianza Lima, next Wednesday. Tricolor’s home in Peru must be the Peruvian federation’s CT, in La Videna. Tricolor is awaiting a definitive OK to use the space, but the release is expected to occur without any problems.
Felipe Melo cites convictions of Daniel Alves and Robinho: “You can’t put your hand over your head”
The Peruvian team’s CT was used by Tricolor before the clash against Sporting Cristal, in the debut of the last Libertadores. The logistics for 2024 will be the same as those adopted in 2023: Fluminense will travel on Monday night, arriving in Lima in the early hours of Tuesday. Preparation will be completed on Peruvian soil.
The trip to Peru will be the longest of Fluminense’s entire group stage. The journey between Rio de Janeiro and Lima is approximately 5h30, with a distance of 3,846 km, and the delegation will travel by chartered flight.
Eliminated from Carioca, Fluminense took to the field for the last time on March 16, against rival Flamengo. The duel against Alianza Lima will mark Tricolor’s return to the pitch after 18 days.
